This report confirms that Hamas honoured the ceasefire agreement with Israel from July 2008 until November  4th, 2008.  Rocket attacks The histogram shows monthly records of rockets fired from Gaza and clearly shows the lull between July and Novemebr 2008. The report does not show that for every one israel person killed by Palestinians, 100 Palestinians are killed by Israelis. It makes not mention of the fact that the rockets are largely home made improvised from available materials with no guided systems.

The Guardian and other media reported that the Gaza truce was broken as Israeli raid kills six Hamas gunmen.  Yet Israel’s excuse for the onslaught on Gaza in December 2008, was in retaliation to the rocket fire. In fact ‘Operation Lead Caste’ launched on 27th Dec 2008 which lasted 22 days had been planned for months ahead for that date.
